Taste of Georgetown Raises $30,000, Crowns Winner

GEORGETOWN, S.C. – The Taste of Georgetown crowned a winner Monday as voted on by the fans, Jack Broach, a Family Justice Center of Georgetown County (FJC) boardmember, said.
Atlantic House Restaurant, owned by Roz Wyndham, was presented with the Top People’s Choice Award by the FJC. Wyndham, who is also the chef at the restaurant, won for her hunter duck stew over grits. Atlantic House, located on Screven Street, is not yet open for pubic business.
The Taste of Georgetown raises money each year for the Family Justice Center, which works to aid victims of domestic violence. The event raised $30,000 this year.
