The FJC Legal Network provides legal services to victims of domestic violence at the San Diego Family Justice Center.  Currently, the Legal  Network offers help in filing a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), an Elder Abuse Restraining Order, and court support. The Legal Network Clinic is run by Alexia Peters, the Managing Attorney. 

The FJC Legal Network files applications electronically with the San Diego Superior Court which relieves the victim of having to go to the courthouse to obtain legal protection from domestic violence.  Free child care is provided along with safety planning and advocacy services.  There is no charge for these legal services for victims of domestic violence.

To provide convenient and free legal services to victims of domestic violence, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

To create a legal network that will be able to provide comprehensive legal services including divorces, child custody assistance, child support advocacy, and enforcement of restraining orders when violations occur.
